EU oat product exports to 3rd countries continue to show solid growth with a five-year CAGR of 4.9%.  Third country exports are to non-EU destinations.  These exports account for on average 22% of total oat product exports of the EU.  Exports year-to-date(Jan-Oct) are up 2.4% (see pg. 2).

Exports are forecast to rise by 28% or just over 105,000 MT by 2022. This will see additional mill capacity added in many EU countries and regions.

While growth remains solid to South Africa and Israel, the top two export destinations, declines in growth over the past five years is showing in five of the six next largest destinations (see below and pg. 2).

The top ten destination account for 67% of total 3rd country exports. However, the next 10 destinations are showing steady growth, which affords opportunities for oat product exporters.
